Sponsorships Are Not Just For Events

Associations create sponsorship kits that feature opportunities for vendors to showcase their company, products and services to its members. Their hope is vendors will see the value in sponsoring these events and sign on to participate, ultimately providing additional revenue for the association.

However, sponsorships don’t always need to be focused around a specific meeting or event. For example, CMA created several year-round packages for client JHI, a global network of accountants and business advisors, that includes website, newsletter and magazine opportunities. Creating year-round packages can prove even more beneficial for associations and sponsors. Consider the following reasons:

Increased visibility = more participation. Sponsors will have the ability to be in front of the association’s members on a more consistent basis, increasing their visibility and the likelihood of their products and services being used. This will ultimately lead to more sponsorship participation.

Steady stream of revenue. Instead of receiving additional revenue every few months depending upon when their events are being held, associations will receive a steady stream of revenue year-round. This additional revenue can be used to help provide its members with new benefits, programs, etc.

Industry status. Receiving strong participation from vendors in a given industry validates associations as providing valuable and comprehensive opportunities, ultimately enhancing its status throughout its targeted market.

Let us develop comprehensive sponsorship packages that help provide additional revenue for your association year-round.
